Froggatt Show

Saturday 26th August 2017

hathersage brass bandThe little hamlet of Froggatt, once owned by the Duke of Rutland, does things differently from the rest of the Hope Valley. They have a charming, fun packed August Bank Holiday Weekend afternoon fete on the riverside each year, which normally starts at 2pm and finishes at 5-5:30pm.

The afternoon usually begins with a children's fancy dress competition and pony and rider judging and ends with the Produce Auction - jams & preserves, flowers and so on.

There is a modest charge of £3 for admission (children free) - well worth it for an afternoon at a quintessential English fete.
