flowersThe Horticultural Show began in 1950 in what is now Grindleford and has been a popular event on the Hope Valley calendar ever since.  Held on the 3rd Saturday in August, it's a must for the gardening enthusiast and a fun day out for the whole family.
Come and see a wide and wonderful range of flowers, fruit and vegetables and fantastic arts and crafts displays.  There are also several stalls, plus music and a selection of refreshments.

For such a tight knit community, we don't shy away from competition and all entrants have spent a great deal of time growing, watering, feeding and probably talking to their entries too (if it's good enough for Charles...)
There's fun and a little light hearted competition for the local children too, as many years host a Tallest Sunflower competition for the little ones.
Find us on Bridge Field, Grindleford.
